Choosing whether or not to report an incident of sexual misconduct, harassment, or assault is 100% up to the survivor. Everyone has different reasons why they may choose to report or not, which is explained in this section.

This section also gives information on reporting to on- or off-campus resources and legal rights for survivors, including statute of limitation laws.

The most important thing is to be informed about the decision to report or not, which is the purpose of this section. Survivors are encouraged to do their own research as well and talk to professionals about reporting. This website is supposed to provide general information, and should be used to inform survivors as resources, not act as a sole resource.

Remember, the decision to report is 100% up to the survivor and survivors should not feel pressured by anyone to act a certain way.
