About this website

This website was created to act as a resource for UWL students who are survivors of sexual misconduct, harassment, or assault. The resources and information about the resources are available to students, however, the information is spread out over multiple platforms and, in some cases, can be hard to find. This website was created to compile these resources into one place, to make it easier for survivors to find and access the information they need.

The information on this website is not meant to influence survivors in any way. It was not created by a professional and survivors should seek professional help. This website is meant to guide them towards that help.

This website was created as a Capstone Project for the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department at UWL, by student Kayleigh Marshall. The information on this website was informed by extensive research, including a survey sent out to random UWL students asking for information about what resources they knew about or wanted more information about. Information about the research and project can be found in the attached document.
